Annual support and upgrades fee for the fully featured permanent 32-bit Ampsa Matching Wizard license.
The MW is used to synthesize, analyse, tune, and optimise microwave impedance-matching networks to solve user-defined matching problems.
Synthesis is based on differential evolution or systematic searches. The evolution is done in the transformation-Q space. The systematic searches are on the transformation Qs or on the transmission phase shifts of the networks at the selected passband frequency.
EM simulation of the matching networks designed in the MW is advised. EM optimization can be used to resolve any discrepancies. It is generally good practice to use S-parameter based models for the microstrip junctions in the final phase of an MW design.
